Instead a bank account in the name of the scheme is established and Melodic listed as a signatory for payments above a mutually agreed upon balance, thereby mitigating the risk of one party defrauding the scheme.

 

Supply of monthly reports to property owners detailing levies collected and disbursements.

 

Generation of monthly levy statements.

 

Supply of levy clearance certificate upon sale of an owner’s property.

 

The maintenance of accounting documents in line with audit and legislative requirements.

 

Assistance with budget preparations in line with the Sectional Titles Schemes Management Act.

 

Attend, manage and minute meetings.

 

Supply trustees with management reports.

 

Appoint and supply all audit evidence to the auditors.

 

Periodic building inspections ensuring budgets and insurance values remain reasonable.
